The entire Israeli/Gaza situation is all about the Ben Gurion canal which would compete with the Suez Canal.

 

If you needed proof, well this attitude is proof. Israel does not want to peaceful co-exists. They want to build a canal through northern Gaza. It sits in the way of their money making and control project called the Ben Gurion canal…
