As for Washington D.C, it does raise questions, I never supported personally a one sided lobbying i.e. pushing for the US to fight Israeli wars. The US should support other countries based on its interest only. Israel should fight it's own wars.

Again my opinion is That every country should fight its own wars and all these Israeli lobby issue are negative in my opinion. anyhow, I am against this lobbying but you are forgetting one thing. Israel has many joint military contracts with the US, so there is a double interest here. So as always, things are more complex than meets the eye.
