Coat of arms decal:
Mermaids on either side of the crest
Red and white checks at upper left of the crest
Crossed anchors at upper right of the crest
What appears to be a naval vessel at bottom of the crest
Crown at the top (is this a UK decal?)
Can't determine the symbol in the center
In heraldic symbolism:
Mermaids represent eloquence
Red: warrior or martyr; military strength and magnanimity
White: peace and sincerity
Anchors: hope; religious steadfastness
Ship: sea voyages
Yuuuuge reference to U.S. military unit heraldry: http://www.ngw.nl/heraldrywiki/index.php?title=Military_heraldry_of_the_United_States#Air_Force
Am thinking Navy or Marines, due to the mermaids, anchors, and ship.
Would appreciate input from US or Royal Navy, or USMC for further identification
