Well, that cheered me right up! Breaker Morant. My God, I haven't heard that name in 70+ years. Had a grade school teacher who was a refugee when young whose family had been Boer. They'd gone back to Holland then got flushed by the Germans and came to America and made good. She was tough.

GAS! My great uncle lost a lung to mustard gas and TB and was then badly burned as a bonus marcher. Spent many years in the gold fields with him growing up. Seems with experience and resultant wisdom, no one trusts government.
