Every form of religion is the same set of chains, but in a different language. Language was the first form of control. Part of the Great Awakening is to awaken to ALL forms of control, which includes religion.
Don't discount religious beliefs, however. There is good in them. Some people need that type of moral guidance to be good people. There are good Buddhists, Christians, Muslims, Taoists, Spaghetti Monster Acolytes, et al.

It's mind boggling, isn't it? I don't have a problem with people who are religious. I have a problem with it being organized and it when it comes to organization, the Abrahamic religions put the German Reich to shame, in terms of efficiency.
Problem is, they all have a "different God" (when they actually don't) and he played them all off one another. Think about it. If I were a superior being, who was a bit of a sadist and I had a "lower lifeform" to play with, why wouldn't I subjugate 3 groups under the same ideology, but slightly different (again LANGUAGE) and tell each one they were the "mostest most specialist ever and anyone who didn't believe me must die" and thenpitthem against each other, so I rack up the sacrifices.
