I can only think, (and will not name them), those who still uphold their oath and vow to serve citizens. And have made it their mission to make the people and districts they govern and actually do their jobs.

I used to send emails to senators and congressmen back in 2015-18, I’d usually get at least a form letter in the mail, or a form email; but my congressman today doesn’t even acknowledge my emails. And my senator is a lefty, so whats the use since the hatred and divide Obama created and blew up. They a budget for communications to constituents, but they don’t especially if you point out failings or suggestions to do better!

US and China agree to resume military communication

Joe Biden hailed Wednesday’s talks with Xi Jinping as among the “most productive” in years

Washington and Beijing will restore communication channels between their respective militaries, US President Joe Biden told reporters following his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in the San Francisco Bay area on Wednesday.

“We’re back to direct, open, clear, direct communications,” Biden said, adding that the contacts would help avoid accidents and misunderstandings during a period of tense relations between the two nuclear-armed states.

“Vital miscalculations on either side can cause real, real trouble with a country like China or any other major country.”

Biden added that the talks with Xi were “some of the most constructive and productive discussions we've had,” while noting that the sides still have disagreements.

According to China’s state-run Global Times newspaper, the contacts “based on equality and respect” will include working meetings between defense departments and a bilateral “maritime security consultation mechanism.”

The US and China have clashed over Taiwan and accused each other of stirring up tensions in the Asia-Pacific and beyond. China, meanwhile, insisted that the airship was a weather balloon that had veered off course. The sides later traded accusations of dangerous military maneuvers involving fighter jets and warships.

NSA’s ‘woke’ diversity guide leaked – Daily Wire

The unclassified glossary cites the work of controversial left-leaning academics

The US National Security Agency (NSA) compiled a list of hundreds of “social justice”terms for employees, including references to “white privilege” and “Critical Race Theory,”according to the Daily Wire, which obtained a leaked copy of the document.

The 34-page dictionary was created by the spy organization last yearbut only revealed on Wednesday. In an introductory passage, the NSA describes the document as a “starting point for engaging in open and honest conversation” and a “tool meant to build a shared language of understanding.”

“The following is a glossary of terms and language commonly used in dialogue regarding diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice to be used as a reference,” it says.

The dictionary contains a long list of terms related to racism, sexuality and other politically and socially charged topics, including “white supremacy,” “queer theory” and “racial equity.”The Daily Wire accused the NSA of endorsing “blatantly left-wing views on race and sex,”noting that the glossary favorably cites the work of controversial academics popular on the political left.

Those thinkersinclude critical race theorist and Boston University professor Ibram X. Kendi, as well as Robin DiAngelo, corporate diversity trainer and author of ‘White Fragility.’Quoting DiAngelo directly, the NSA document defines the latter term as “the state in which even a minimum amount of racial stress becomes intolerable, triggering a range of defensive moves [in white people].”

Republican Congressman Mike Waltz, who serves on the House Intelligence Committee, said he confirmed the authenticity of the diversity dictionary, and later urged the NSA to “get back to preventing terrorist attacks and countering China.”

“I just can’t overemphasize how shocking this is,” Waltz told the Daily Wire. “This isn’t some kind of diversity document… in, say, the Small Business Administration. This isthe NSA, the National Security Agency, one of the most powerful agencies in the world.”

The NSA came under fire in 2013 after whistleblower Edward Snowden leaked a massive trove of files detailing the agency’s illicit surveillance of American citizens. The revelations were a bombshell at the time, as then-NSA Director James Clapper had falsely insisted to lawmakers that his agency was not “wittingly” collecting “any type of data at all on millions of Americans.”

Snowden has been charged under the World War I-era Espionage Act, but has remained in Russia after his passport was revoked by US authorities, where he was granted asylum and later Russian citizenship.

Washington raises stakes on ‘losing hand’ in Ukraine – Jeffrey Sachs

The leading American analyst has argued that Washington needs a new foreign policy after 15 years of failure in Eastern Europe

Washington has continually escalated a failed foreign policy in Eastern Europe sinceat least 2008, driving Ukraine to the brink of total destruction by failing to address Russia’s legitimate security concerns in the former Soviet republic, US public policy analyst Jeffrey Sachs has argued.

“The US has played a losing hand badly for 15 straight years,” Sachs said on Wednesday in an interview with independent journalist Glenn Greenwald. “This is really important to understand if one wants to learn a little bit about geopolitical poker, which is, we keep raising the stakes on a losing hand.”

Sachs, an award-winning economist who advised the Russian and Ukrainian governments following the Soviet Union’s breakup, detailed how at various points in the past two decades, Washington could have forestalled a military conflict without Kiev losing any territory. He pointed out that Moscow was demanding that NATO not expand onto its doorstep, which US officials refused to concede.

When Ukraine’s then-president, Viktor Yanukovych, chose neutrality over aligning with the West and agreed to extend the Russian Black Sea Fleet’s lease of its naval base in Crimea, that wasn’t good enough for US leaders, Sachs said. US State Department official Victoria Nuland “and friends” then helped overthrow Kiev’s democratically elected government in 2014, leading to Ukraine’s loss of Crimea, he said.

Even then, Russia wasn’t demanding more territory. Rather, Sachs said, Moscow wanted Ukraine to refrain from shelling ethnic Russians in the breakaway Donbass region and to grant them a degree of autonomy. Those terms were included in the Minsk II agreement, which was unanimously endorsed by the UN Security Council, but US officials told Ukrainian leaders that they didn’t need to comply with the deal, the analyst said.

In December 2021, Russian PresidentVladimir Putin proposed a security pact pledging no further expansion of NATOand negotiations on placement of US missile systems in Eastern Europe.

The US reply came in January 2022.“We don’t have to discuss any of that with you,” Sachs said, summing up Washington’s stance at the time. “That was the reply. We don’t have to discuss NATO with you.It’s none of your business.”(so Bidan & team intentionally provoked the war!)

Just three days after Russian forces launched a military offensive against Ukraine in February 2022, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky sought to resolve the conflict by pledging neutrality, Sachs said. However, he suggested that, when Zelensky reached a preliminary agreement with the Russians on a peace settlement a few weeks later,US President Joe Biden’s administration torpedoed the deal.

Washington has since approved $113 billion in aid to Ukraine, essentially prolonging the fighting, the analyst argued. Earlier this year, the Biden administration goaded Kiev into a major counteroffensive against Russian forces that was “clearly an impossibility,” Sachs said.

“They’ve raised the stakes for 15 years on a losing hand, and they can’t get it,” the economist said. “And this is our team. They failed.”

We need a new foreign policy team, and we need a new foreign policy approach, and we need to negotiate before Ukraine is completely destroyed.

Sachs noted that he and other observers predicted the Ukraine debacle in the early days of the conflict. “This one was not very hard to see,” he said. “Like you said, how can you beat Russia? It was very obvious. These people just arenot very clever. Biden, Nuland, [National Security Advisor Jake] Sullivan, [Secretary of State Antony] Blinken– ==they’ve been at this since 2014••.”

Kiev’s much-anticipated offensive campaign, launched in the summer, failed to achieve any significant victories or win back much territory. Valery Zaluzhny, Ukraine’s top general, said in a recent interview that the fighting has reached “a stalemate.”

The Economist reported this week that Western officials “increasingly think” that the conflict could last for another five years.
