What does taken proffers mean?

There is no legitimate reason to sealing any type of evidence from any type of disclosure in any case at all. Evidence is information and not only is it protected under the Freedom of Information Act, but it is part of the First Amendment right to Free Speech because speech is information; regardless the Speech is in any type of format such as audio which is sound waves, written, or or video which is essentially a "sequence" of a audio and images interleaved. Free Speech is also protected under the 6th Amendment as part of the "Right to a Fair Trail" which includes having a "public trail" and to have compulsory process for "obtaining witnesses in his favor". In law, a witness is someone who, either voluntarily or under compulsion, provides "testimonial evidence", either oral or written, of what they know or claim to know. Evidence: Any proof legally presented at trial through witnesses, records, and/or exhibits. So evidence is a witness for the record because evidence testifies to the fact of truthfulness.
