If a person has a friend (and that person is not a politician), the friend is a friend because of interpersonal chemistry: shared interests, hobbies, values, etc.
If a person has a spouse or significant other, that spouse or other was chosen for interpersonal chemistry.
Bringing race into it is just trying to drive a wedge between people. Worse, invalidating a person's choices by claiming they're racist regardless of their choices in their private social circle is just blind cruelty.
The dogma being promulgated that only white people can be racist, and that white people are racist by definition regardless of their behavior or opinions, is demonstrably false and always harmful to interpersonal relations.
