I was raised Catholic. Christians are brianwashed with this bullshit, as are Jews and Muslims. If you research all three (they're from the same branch), you'll see that their whole "creation myth" is pretty much identical. In fact, the whole concept is near identical. They're just different due to language (which was the first form of control).
They're all in on it, they just don't realize it. Each one has a "different God" who told them, separately that they were his "favorite" and to go forth and spread his "word" to force others to bend the knee or be destroyed.
It's a seriously ingenious plan, to pit them against one another and rack up the sacrifices, if you were a "higher lifeform," had a sadistic streak and access to a "lower lifeform" to play with.
