1 killed in shooting at New Hampshire Hospital; trooper kills shooter

One person was shot and killed Friday at New Hampshire Hospital before a state trooper on duty at the secure psychiatric facility shot and killed the shooter, police said.

Officials said CPR was performed on the shooting victim, who was taken to a hospital but died of their injuries.

The identity of the shooting victim was not released pending notification of next of kin. State Police Col. Mark Hall said police are working to determine the identity of the shooter.
