The word knowledge is also 'opinion'. The tree of the knowledge of good and evil was the tree of the opinion of good and evil.

Perverting the blessing of God, whee they were supposed to be a blessing. They seeded bad info into scriptures to keep the Gentiles away from God.

Death is the exchange with a new life.

The tree was a picture of the cross. Whe they ate the hid in the 'singualr' tree, not in the bushes. They his in the cross, which is why God could not see them. God sees the cross when you are in Christ.

 

Adam and Eve were not cursed. The ground was. They did not learn of God's holiness from the separated tree, so he gave them lesson 2 with more separation.

 

He gave them suffering to remind them they were not gods. Eve through childbirth, Adam through labour. Each confronts their original sin of thinking they were gods. God's do not suffer.
