Become a HAM! I recently received my ticket and was able to test in a single day for the Technician, General, and Amateur Extra operators’ levels and somehow passed all three! I will share my experience and toys because I love you guise!

STUDYING:(Yes It Takes Effort)

https://hamexam.org/ is by far the best bare bones, no shit study resource I’ve found. It has the entire Test Question Pools for all three aforementioned levels. You can download the questions with the right answers ONLY, as well as with the distractor questions. Then you can take all the practice exams you can mentally deal with 100% FREE! Set a goal and challenge yourself. Do you think you’re going not be challenged when the SHTF? Be a Dwarf among Midgets, or a Tesla among Marconi’s. The choice it yours.

Additionally, I paid the herculean $4 for the Ham Study App, https://hamstudy.org/appstore, which is probably what got me over the finish line for all three levels. It is super easy and intuitive. Miss a question, and you’ll see it a few questions later, which reinforces your short-term memory and drills it into your long-term memory.

TESTING:

Practice makes perfect. It takes 2500 repetitions to develop true muscle memory. As I used to tell my junior troops, a bayonet can only be sharpened by Pressure, Repetition, and Proper Angle. Realize those shills that aggravate us all make us sharper, keener, and wiser? Would you ignore enemy fire during a firefight? You see enough Ostriches with our “Elected Leaders”, don’t be one yourself. You may be the next Moses who leads your people out of Egypt (Civilization) into the wilderness. God in his wisdom, has plans for you. Enough of the diatribe.

Online Remote Testing: https://hamstudy.org/sessions find one of your choosing (Be Sure to Select Remote on the Buttons). After initially reviewing the above question pools, determine a target date and put it on the calendar! Technician will get you about 70% of the frequencies opened up for you. In an Emergency, then all the gloves are off! I just want you to be prepared and have working experience. Worst case, the Best is Yet to Come, and you’ll have a life-long hobby, and meet some of the most helpful and humble people in the world. The Meek.

The exam team I chose wasWM7X Test Team, which had the most options for payment. They were awesome and supportive. The Exam takes $14 and you can test for all three levels in one sitting. Study, Study, Study!!! Then pay the FCC the $35 license fee and have your Call Sign within a day or so. (At Least With This VEC Team) The license is good for 10 years, with a 2-year Grace Period. As long as you renew within this time frame (Another $35), then you’ll never have to test again. Have faith in yourself! Never fence yourselves in! RUN FREE! BE FREE! BE NOT AFRAID!
