I'm going to make the assumption that you're Theravada, which is the oldest of the Buddhist sects and if you truly were, you would know that part of enlightenment comes from knowledge. How can you say that you've ascended, when you've openly admitted that you've narrowed your dogma to a single thread, when there are several threads of spirituality? You're talking about being a "Buddhist" yet you're saying verbatim, "Jesus wanted us to know We are ALL God's Children?" THE Buddha taught his followers that they could become his EQUAL through mental, spiritual and physical perfection. You might want to study Theravada more.
