Absolutely!

Anon is working on enhancing Flameshot. Often anon takes screenshots of posts, which takes time to click in top left, drag to bottom right, click Save icon, click Save button on dialog.

Anon is slow; been at this for a day, have added a command-line option and am figuring out where it's doing what. 20% of the way there?

Have the basis figured out, for first step, "grab post under the mouse": where mouse cursor is, expand a square and scan what's there, if one side has a line then stop expanding that side; keep going until all sides hit a line, or edge of screen.

Second goal: "grab post that's 200 pixels to right of mouse", so when hovering over a link, it'll get the post that pops up to the right.

Anon takes dozens of screenshots daily using both techniques, so this will save some time. And anon knows others do this so goal is to serve others.

Picrel shows the command-line option added; more to come.

Thanks for baking anon.

>Brave Browser has a menu option for "Take Screenshot" on it's right mouse click menu, but otherwise it sucks.

Nice, thank you! Firefox apparently has the same, and it works quite well for region detection.

Now anon is conflicted: use this other tool, or keep adding?

In testing it out, can't capture a popup that way, so that's one reason to keep adding.

Thanks again!
