Announcing a NEW oldest known
MR. Pig post.
as all know Mr. Pig claims to have been here since the beginning, but the Mr. Pig meme didn't show up till post start of the pandemic, in May of 2020, specifically May 30.
well, we have an archive but it has no images so . . .the only way to figure out if he is or is not posting Mr. Pig memes is by the file names. and as it turns out . . . that's not that hard to do.
so I was investigating with grep and found an even old Mr. Pig post in a bread in the morning of May 30, no image, but there was someone answering it that called the person 'Mr. Pig' and thus this is the NEW oldest known Mr. Pig post.
there is a tell in a Mr. Pig image filename that makes it far more likely that it is a Mr. Pig meme: pig memes are always in all caps.
anyway here is a screen cap of the new oldest known Mr. Pig post.

I battled midnight monster until I realized they weren't going to shut it off.

my response to Mr. Pig on may 30, 2020 was 'I had a white cat once so you really got to me with that one last bread' meaning I'd never seen it before. I was doing snarky cat memes, so I was used to having cats inmy memes. It showed up. It seemed like a good theme. Then I realized 'it's a guy'
it wasn't just a meme format but some anon.
and it was low-rent, so I enjoyed it.
