The Dancing Rebel Women of Iran
This 48 second video clip is rather short to both watch the women and read, so here's the text from the clip:
"These dancing women are risking jail by publicly defying Iran's Modesty Laws. More and more women are sharing their acts of rebellion on social media despite the looming danger of the Modesty Police. Dancing is the latest protest against Iran's strict laws joining the wave of women not wearing head covers required by law when outside the home. The hair-uncovering protests led to arrests and the dancers could face a similar fate. But hopefully these women are shuffling their way to a better future." (by Vocative)
Notably, non-religious music and art of any kind are also strictly forbidden in Islam as per Sharia Law.
