Anons, I think I found something while digging lightly. Here's the gist of what I found.

The above Business Insider link is from hot shot journalist Josh Barro (BA in Psychology). He worked for Obama while a so-called Republican but became a registered Democrat once Trump won the election.

As a former aide to Barack Obama, Barro was included on a short list of Obama's favorite columnists.

Barro lives in Manhattan and is gay. In 2017, he married Zachary Allen, chairman of TIPAH Consulting and a former Democratic National Committee official.

Things get extra interesting because Zachary Allen emails are part of #DNCLeaks collection about fund-raising for NC Roy Cooper (Democratic) who is serving as the 75th and current Governor of North Carolina since 2017.

Zach Allen is the New York & Tri-State finance director for the DNC. Both Kempner and Allen report to Jordan Kaplan, National DNC Finance Director.
