Police begin two days of training at Mason High School

 

MASON, Mich (WLNS) - Do not be alarmed if you see a lot of police activity at Mason High School today and tomorrow.

 

Local law enforcement is teaming up with Mason Schools to conduct training exercises.

 

The goal is to enhance school safety.

 

For the next two days from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. the school and grounds will be off-limits to all faculty and students.

 

Mason residents might see a high police presence in the area but not to worry, it's only a drill.

Masons host CHIP child ID event

 

MARYVILLE, Mo. — Children and parents from Maryville and nearby communities arrived at the Nodaway County Senior Center on East First Street Saturday in order to take part in the CHIP “Child Identification & Protection Program” sponsored by the Masonic lodges of Missouri.
