I attended the Broadway production of Evita and was stunned by the talent of the lead and her singing. At the end of the play it was announced this lead was the stand in. I was not disppointed.

Great divine appointment that I would sit beside the stand ins Mother on an airplane. she mentioned her dtr was a Broadway actress. I asked what plays, she said Evita and that probably did not see her because she was a stand in. What!!! I got to tell how wonderful her dtr was on the stage.
