Your thoughts and background are interesting, lawfagprepperanon.
I do not have anything to say on your idea of having more SCOTUS judges. I think the current panel of 9 is OK. A stable court system where everyone knows what to expect, from term to term and generation to generation, is a desirable objective IMO.
But I was wondering this morning what the Constitution says about the procedure for appointing and confirming SC justices. I thought only the President can appoint? but the other legislator for SC tweeted that he planned to nominate Gowdy. This raised the question in my mind as to what is the exact constitutionally-prescribed procedure.
If writing on that appeals to you, I'm sure many anons, myself included, would appreciate the info rather than having to go read the Constitution ourselves.
