comment from another private post - An engineer friend who knows people in the local power company through his work told me, that line crews found unburned power poles with cellphones attached to incendiary devices strapped to the tops of the poles near the transformers. This was in the investigation of last Year's Santa Rosa / Sonoma - Napa fire. None of this made the press as it was feared the public would be alarmed. This latest fire, is again in Napa county.

Another friend who works for a big camera co. told me this.

The company sells a lot of gear to us govt. agencies. He's often called on to train the higher up s on using new equipment so they can build training programs for their investigators.

So, he's in San Diego training this women who's head of the border patrol investigation division. He began dating her and would often fly down for weekends. We talked weekly and I asked about his recent weekend. He said it wasn't much fun. His girlfriend was upset all weekend over something that happened at work.

He said, she told him that, 4 out of a group of 11 border jumpers were caught during the week. These were special jumpers. They were all Caucasian, were dressed in desert camo, were armed, and each had $70K in us currency on their person. They were apparently trained in desert and mountain survival. They spoke some English and looked to be from an eastern European country (Muslim). She was very worried about the 7 that got away.
