Panic attacks are caused by an imbalance of vital nutrients due to poor diet. The causes are usually a lack of B vitamins and/or salts in the body (potassium- which no one ever eats enough of, and salt-which helps regulate EVERYTHING)

 

Track when your anxiety attacks happen (time of day) and when you eat. If you are experiencing one, grab an apple and EAT IT. Anon has dealt with anxiety for all anon’s life and when I found the Apple hack, it broke anon down in tears because it helped almost instantly after the first few bites.

 

Eat regularly, take a multi-B complex.

It actually has just enough vitamin B to take the edge off of an ongoing panic attack. It’s amazing how well it works.

 

You are correct about nicotine as vitamin B used to be called nicotinic acid. And if you want to stop a panic attack, smoking is a good way to do it! But that just leads back to the lack of vitamin B and salts in the body triggering panic.

 

Just eat more.

My experience has been mainly with apples but potatos can help too as they have a LOT of potassium (which will calm your heart down) another food is bananas. Same deal.

 

Don’t be scared, panic attacks are your body’s way of telling you that you need food NOW. Listen to it and feed yourself what your heart and liver needs to function. (Potassium, B vitamins, table salt, and a bit of complex sugar for the absorption of B vitamins)
