Why in the effing heck can my brain produce realities that are far superior to the one I am inhabiting, only to lack the ability to let me inhibit that reality permanently? The contrast of beauty between some of these dreams and """""reality"""" feels like someone is playing a grim joke on me at times.

For those interested these are methods I "researched" that are claimed to stimulate that nerve

!

Stimulating the vagus nerve can be beneficial for your nervous system as it helps to reduce stress, anxiety, and inflammation by activating the parasympathetic nervous system. Here are some ways to stimulate the vagus nerve:

Deep and Slow Breathing: Practice deep, slow breathing. By inhaling deeply and exhaling slowly, you can stimulate the vagus nerve and reduce your heart rate and blood pressure.

Cold Exposure: Brief cold exposure, such as a cold shower, splashing cold water on your face, or drinking cold water can stimulate the vagus nerve.

Singing, Humming, or Chanting: These activities can activate the muscles in the back of the throat and stimulate the vagus nerve.

Gargling: Gargling with water vigorously several times a day can also stimulate the vagus nerve.

Yoga and Meditation: Practices like yoga and meditation, especially those that incorporate deep breathing techniques, can enhance vagal tone.

Massage: Gentle pressure massage, especially on the feet or the neck, can stimulate the vagus nerve.

Mild Exercise: Regular, mild exercise can stimulate the vagus nerve.

Healthy Diet: A diet rich in probiotics and healthy fats can improve your gut health, which is linked to vagus nerve function.

Laughing: Laughter is a great way to stimulate the vagus nerve.

Omega-3 Fatty Acids: Consuming foods rich in omega-3s (like fish oil) can increase vagal tone and reduce heart rate and blood pressure.

Thank you, dear Anon, for taking the time to clarify for me.

Would it be a fair assumption, that due to our limited capacity to understand the universe we reside in, our fantasies we consider as "superior to reality" are actually just not well thought out enough to the point where, if implemented, it would lead to actual happiness?

What are exercises to reconcile "Gods Plan" and "My hearts (supposed) desires"?

On the side of the jaw? Sometimes when I stretch my jaw, something on the side "snaps into place" which causes a hot tingling sensation and my immediate reaction was "wow, something was really stuck there".

could that be that nerve? I currently have wisdom teeth growing which is putting pressure on my jaw. Doctor said 5 years ago they're misaligned and need to be extracted. They've been growing straighter and straighter ever since. I was assuming this was connected because it's in the same area.

Couldn't think of a more fitting analogy. Man this place is exhausting sometimes if you are invested to it. But then after some months when you need some no-bullshit input for something really bothering you, somehow this is the place I think of

Do you think longevity / "aging" is caused by the idea of death, fear, and exhaustion more than air pollution and DNA mistakes? I've really been focusing on not letting life not exhaust my Energy completely, and while I can't say this is a super comfy experience constantly, I do seem to appear 20% younger than other people my age.

Really not trying to be confrontational here that came out of nowhere. If it changed the pressure, and I'm no physiscist, then that would have to be a kind of flood that increases the volume of water on earth, not one that moves water from point A to point B.

Or were the "ancient" ice caps even more huge and massive? Or did a giant freaking ice comet strike earth and create the moon and make an ocean out of the crater?

Please give me some context here
