it's like i've been saying for years (on here and other places):

they're gonna pretend that they've made a "real" ai (maybe it will be the leader of the new world religion? "it's god!") but it will (obviously) be AT BEST an ai (like they function now) curated by a human, but more likely just a group of people and we will all be forced to obey "it"
