Haven't seen this posted yet, but it seems like the fake news is setting the narrative for a cyber-attack on US water supplies.

Federal officials are investigating a cyberattack on the Municipal Water Authority of Aliquippa.

Robert Bible, the general manager of the Aliquippa Municipal Authority, said no customers lost service in the attack.

He said the hackers targeted a small substation in Racoon Township. They disabled a device that is used to automatically control water levels at the authority's tanks.

The hackers left a message identifying themselves as part of Cyber Avengers, a group linked to Iran.

The message said they are targeting equipment made by Israel. In fact, the device that was disabled is made by an Israeli company.
