Any planefags around this time of day? Have some questions about abilities or limitations of planefag data to track old flights, or routes of planes back around 2014.
Was digging on the 747 seen in Q drop 1679 and 1680.
Maybe irrelevant? My problem is I tend to maybe over dig on stuff that may not be helpful or anons might say is unnecessary.
But here’s what I got.
I eliminated the short-body and shorter configurations of the entire fleet of United 747s and have a relatively short list of 23 tail numbers of 747-400s that were active around 2014 (when I think some anon said the HK Q pic was from.) From that list we can MAYBE rule out some that had set routes in Yerp or Japan or mebbe some Aus routes.
Is that a waste of effort or is it worth a look? I am not a planefag and don’t know where to go to look. I have seen some HKG spottings on Planespotters.net.
