Republicans just need to realize that their base would welcome a shutdown.
Their misplaced fear of the fake media's propaganda on the "failures that lead to shutdowns" keeps them losing each and every chance to get meaningful concessions from the socialist demorats.
A shutdown could not hurt anyone more than the out of control inflationary economy already has done.
