People who worship money use it for control & power to manipulate those people who are less fortunate than themselves, instead of trying to help them.
Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist.
And Jesus commanded his apostles to go out and preach the gospel and to baptize those who believed.
Does this mean that a person has to be baptized?
No.
It just signifies that a person believes that Jesus is the Promised Messiah.
But the act of being baptized doesn't do that.
It's what's in a person's mind and in their heart for what Jesus did for them.
I know a lady who baptized her baby in the hospital the day he was born, because she didn't want to take any chances if the baby were to die before being baptized/christened in a church by a Priest.
I thought that was silly and superstitious.
God knows who is saved and who isn't, with or without baptism.
Because people are afraid of being called racist and they know it.
Hard to do when their neighborhoods keep getting invaded.
