The B61-12 is officially worth about twice its weight in gold. Why did Obama choose to refurbish the B61 (a free fall bomb) when it could have made a new short range nuclear cruise missile or something similar for probably less money? Is it because he was setting HRC up with a fleet of low yield bombs with potentially less political (and literal) fallout for their use?
