Little and large missile surprises in Sanaa and Tehran
Iran and its Yemeni ally Ansarullah continue to upgrade their arsenal of ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and direct-attack munitions.
The Sayyad was described as fitted with a radar seeker for the anti-ship role, with a claimed range of 800 km. The Quds Z-0 appeared to have either an electro-optical or infrared seeker and was claimed to be able to engage land and naval targets. While there is little doubt about the Quds missiles’ Iranian origins, Tehran did not publicly acknowledge the missile for several years.
The first indication of Iranian acknowledgement came in February 2023, when Iranian media published footage of a cruise missile, dubbed Paveh, which resembled the Quds. The baseline Quds design was known in Iran as the 351. This version of Paveh, however, differed in being designed for cannister launch, with a folding wing. During Russian Minister of Defence Sergei Shoigu’s visit to Tehran in August 2023, Iran displayed a further version of Paveh at the IRGC’S Aerospace Exhibition.

Mark Middleton, 59, was found hanging from a tree with a gunshot wound to his chest in May 2022, at the Heifer Ranch in Perryville — one hour away from Little Rock, Arkansas, according to official records.
Law enforcement initially reported that no weapon was found at the scene, only three boxes of buckshot and a gun case in Middleton's SUV.
However, another set of papers from the Perry County Sheriff's office was released to the news outlet on Thursday, stating that a Stoeger 12-gauge coach gun was found on the ground only 30 feet from Middleton's body.
