You´re wrong. No one (except you) is claiming Atlantis was 400.000 years old.

Atlantis was pre-flood civilization. That pre-11,12 thousand years ago.

What you are talking about is the last interglacial period (before the one we´re in right now).

There was a pre-flood "Atlantis" but it wasn´t in Greenland. The ice-cap there was just as thick as today, if not thicker.

I´ve been following this for decades. Lots and lots of bs out there, too.

The location of Atlantis is almost irrelevant at this point. My guess would be the Azors islands, but it doesn´t really matter. The main point or question is the existance of it. Did it exist or not.

So consider these two facts.

  1. They myth of Atlantis comes from a somewhat reliable source, Plato of ancient Greece. What is most important about his story is that he dates it. He says, as the story goes (look it up), that Atlantis was drowned by the sea 9.600 BC.

  1. Ask any scientists about what was happening on Earth at that time. Surprice, surprice, last ice-age was ending, sea level rose 120 meters.

do you believe in coincidences?

Look up Graham Hancock. There are others but he´s been the trailblazer in this. He as a recent lecture on his youtube-channel, I recommendz..

I haven´t learned about this Childress guy before, I´ll check it out, thx.

There were also rise and lowering of land mass during these times. That´s normal, but it´s nowhere near enought to explain 120 meter sea level rise.

Check out Randall Carlsson for the geology stuff. He is very well informed.

>somewhere in it all there are hints at real things

yup. lot s of that.

the bs becomes pretty clear once you´re on the right path. if you mentione aliens you´re basically out the window, in my books. (very weird thou what Brien Foerster says about the elongated skulls. no aliens, but just as friggin weird)

Graham Hancock made a recent Netflix serie, Ancient Apocalyps. Goes around the world, talks about myths and stuff. Must be a season 2, lot´s of stuff he also hasn´t covered yet.

no, it collapse in the floods. How long it existed before that is wide open.

Oldest homo sapiens skeletons found are from around 300 thousand years.

ahctullly…

in the Revelations of the pyramids documentary,, narrated by Brian Cox (the actor, not the scientist), towards the end of it there is talk about a line through many ancient sites

could that have been the old equator pre-flood??

it´s 30 degrees off our equator

the ancient people were obsessed with them.

they knew precession.

idk the cygnus arguement for this though

yeah, it could be just because of rising sea levels. that´s how it ended up anyways.

how exactly that happened is a question. one is a meteor hit, one is solar superflare, and one is polarshift with possilble tilt

idk

there are different opinion of this, with the same result of rising sea levels, drowning atlantis

yeah, we kinda ask questions and science doesn´t mean what it used to do. Bring back the scientific method, pls, and drop the globalwarming agenda, for example.

strange how the pre-flood polar ice-cap seems to have been centered around N-Canada, don´t you think?

How do you explain that?

..besides the whole theory of a meteor hit and such? What do you, the scientist, say about the existence of Atlantis?

I´ve just watched some videos of his. He covers interesting subjects sometimes, not all the time.

Reminds me of the 'ancient aliens' crowd. they also cover interesting ancient stuff (I haven´t watched in years though), but their explanations are always the same: aliens.

>Alien in this sense could be ancient pre flood tech, that would seem alien, could be outerspace, could be dimensional space,

I´ve thought about this. Whatever their level of technology, their civilisation didn´t survive. That rules out spacetravel tech, or something super-advanced.

Still they seem to have technology that we moderns do not understand. Megaliths and such…

alien, as in "space aliens", is not possible, imo. ..and dimensional spacetravel also. What does that even mean?

The problem is also just stupid historians, dpn´t want to rock the boat, look at new info, consider new paradigm.

yeah, the more you dig into it, it seems that there were surviviors of Atlantis, and they traveled aroiund the world, trying to re-ignite civilisation…. or maybe just starting new ones. Graham Hancock talks alot about this.

It´s not exactly lies in that sense, rather new info that is ignored and ridiculed.

…but who knows what the deep masons know about the ancient past.

I would like to break into the vatican and look at all that stuff, in the basement.

>Egypt even speaks of Atlantis in some of their columns

This is where the story of Atlantis comes from. Only one sauce for Atlantis story, Plato in Ancient-Greece.

There are many ancient flood-myths all around the world. The epic of Gilgamesh from Sumer prolly the oldest.

The more you dig into all this, the more it all clicks together.

Gobleki Tepe is the most interesting find in archaeology. It shouldn´t exist. Way too old. Doesn´t fit the narrative, there should only be hunter-gatherers at that time.

The way I heard this, Plato got the tale from Solon, who lived around 600 BC, and who traveled to Egypt and got the Atlantis story there. It was carved/written on a wall of some temple or something, but that temple doesn´t exist anymore.

and yes, Gobleki Tepe not the oldest one around there, but that´s what´s most famous. It was the first discovered. They should call it the Gobleki Tepe area, or something.

Or the Tepe-area.
