"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;"

Except they do thisALLthe time. Every time one of them says, "I voted per my religious beliefs," they're violating the 1st Amendment. Religious beliefs should play no part, whatsoever, when it comes to Congressional votes or decisions. As a matter of fact muh "Religious Beliefs" (tm) is the biggest problem in our government. When we have High Cabinet members going to foreign nations saying "I come to you as a Jew" and downplaying terrorist attacks in the nation he serves, instead implying to a foreign nation that their people, whom said High Cabinet Member happens to be a member of, is worthmorethan his countrymen, it's a problem.

Christianity, Judaism and Islam -the triumvirate of evil, itself - all have members of Congress, who do this and put their "religious beliefs" above the will of the people they were elected to serve. (((The[Y]))) mad a massive mistake by making us a melting pot. No religious beliefs should be acknowledged in any capacity with regards to the will of the People of the United States of America.

> Government must be atheistic even if you believe your rights were given by god, you do not get to govern as if the laws handed down are from god also, which is exactly what happens.

And this is precisely why we have muh "rise in anti-Semitisms" (tm). Has nothing at all to do with them being "Jew" - it has everything to do with their "religious beliefs" being elevated above all other considerations for simplybeinga "Jew." People are starting to realize they don't want a level playing field and their sister religions are ensuring they remain elevated.
