Ty anon..funny you posted this…I was a part of the cold fusion argument back in the day and supported Pond/fleshman. That work was discredited many by MIT which then PICKED UP the work and rebranded it as LowEnergyNuclearResonance = LENR. I have actually vetted these devices and have communicated with Rossi and crew who hold the first patent on the LENR.
Interetsing you post this as I have not thought about this in awhile and the designs for LENR could be somewhat improved on. (Likely) LENR type reactions are what is occurring in our electron transport chain. Mimicking of the electron transport chain is the way Nature produced energy….well that and photosynthesis which is kinda of reverse ETC…
