she has a PhD in neuroscience

Trust the Science.

Bialik has said she did not have the grades needed for medical school.[21] She went on to study for a doctorate in neuroscience. She took a break from studies in 2005 to return to acting.[22] She returned to earn her Doctor of Philosophy degree in neuroscience from UCLA in 2007 under Dr. James McCracken.[2][23] Her dissertation was titled "Hypothalamic regulation in relation to maladaptive, obsessive-compulsive, affiliative and satiety behaviors in Praderโ€“Willi syndrome"

I used to work with Special Needs kids.

One of them had Prader-Willi syndrome.

They are never satiated, they are always hungry, and their food intake has to be strictly monitored.

Seems an odd thing for her to choose to study for a PhD dissertation.

I wonder what would have prompted her to want to research this genetic disorder.

It was symbolic of a covenant, a promise, that God made to Abram/Abraham that the Promised Messiah would be from his lineage.

Now that the Promise has been kept, the prophesies fulfilled, it is no longer necessary, because the lineage of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Judah, and David is recorded and fulfilled thru Jesus.

Don't mock God.

It will not go well for you.

He's not just my God.

He is everyone's God, whether you accept it or not.

Just like you have no choice who your parents are. They just are who they are. You can deny that they are your parents, but it does not change the fact that they are.

You can leave your head in your ass if you want to. That is your prerogative.

It wasn't about the Land.

It was about the Promised Messiah.

The Land was just a fringe benefit so that Jesus would have a birthplace that coincided with what the prophets had prophesied.

In the fullness of time, Jesus was born.

Jesus of Nazareth, born in Bethlehem.

It was never about the Jews/Israelites. It was always about the Promised Messiah.

The Jews disobeyed God at every turn, and yet God remained faithful to His promises that a Messiah for the whole world would come from them.

Circumcision is no longer necessary.

The covenant/promise has been fulfilled.

Sorry, I can't understand it for you, I can only try to explain it to you.

You seem as confused about it as the present day Jews are.

Maybe you are one and the same.

pic #1 It was a test of his faith, and God provided an alternative. It was symbolic of the coming of the Promised Messiah, who would be the ultimate alternative. Abraham understood this. It was common practice, at that time. for the Pagans to sacrifice their children.

pic#2 The Egyptians gave gold and other treasure to the Israelites who were leaving Egypt because they wanted the Israelites to leave Egypt.

pic#3 It proved that the men he had killed were not Israelites, because Isrealites wouldn't still have their foreskins. Much easier than dragging 200 bloody heads back to the king to show him.

pic#4 The commandment was to not Murder. There is a difference between killing and murdering. Sometimes killing evil is a good thing. Murder is a selfish endeavor.
