>sayl

I suspect he says "sayl" with the same meaning Cabal use for "fly": die, soul flies to afterlife

also means "say L": say loss/loser

and sail - drown in the tsunamis triggered by the solar flash unlocked tectonic shifts.

sayl/sail may also mean to drown in the astral plane, losing spiritual cohesion and individual identity.

While the soul is indestructible, the degree to which it may be dissolved into the collective consciousness is unknown. Presumably such things can be repaired.

Native Humans inherit the right to enter Earth's afterlife. For ET souls, however, admission to their group's local afterlife is presumably contingent on the approval of the governing deities. Thus it is probable that outcasts are banished to wither in Earth's hostile astral plane. This withering affects the spirit, not the soul, but involves a forgetting of identity, as others have attested. Old phantoms forget their names; there are no phantoms older than a few centuries. Obviously it is useful for such deities to convince their followers that they are Source and the only available afterlife, to harvest greater worship therefrom.
