A former adviser to the Pope who was once tipped for the Catholic Church’s top position himself has been jailed after being convicted of financial crimes.
Cardinal Angelo Becciu, the most senior Catholic Church official ever to stand trial before a Vatican criminal court, was found guilty of fraud and embezzlement. He was sentenced to five and a half years in prison.
Fabio Viglione, the Italian prelate’s lawyer, insisted that his client was innocent and that an appeal would launched.

Is the Deep State Mafia setting up a Massive Cyber Attack False flag on the American people that will disrupt the 2024 Election?
We are increasingly seeing news of potential cyber-attacks, perhaps coincidentally, or maybe not, since the Netflix release of the apocalyptic movie, “Leave the World Behind,” which was the topic of an article published just a few days ago on the Expose.
Notably, this last week we have been told that a “cyber attack” seemed to shut down half the internet, with Banks and even Rumble being affected.
This is a scenario that the founder of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Klaus Schwab has been warning us about. He has foretold, as heard in the first video at the bottom of this story, that a cyber pandemic that was going to be happening in the near future would have significantly worse consequences than COVID for the entire worldwide population. He is not a prophet, but knows this as it has been planned, practiced and we have been prepped to fear it.
Just as tabletop exercises were conducted before the COVID plandemic, similarly, tabletop exercises have been conducted by the United States Intel agencies on this exact scenario too.
Killware
The fear of an attack is further strengthened by the Department of Homeland Security head Alejandro Mayorkas who says the greatest cyber threat to America is something called Killware, a type of malware designed to kill or disable computer software.
Reuters reported that the espionage also targeted the U.S. island territory of Guam, home to strategically important American military bases, and said: “While China and the United States routinely spy on each other, analysts say this is one of the largest known Chinese cyber-espionage campaigns against American critical infrastructure.”
So, it wouldn’t be America attacking America then, would it?
Disinformation Campaign – The Empire of Hacking
According to a Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Mao Ning on Thursday, it is not China either, “the hacking allegations were a “collective disinformation campaign” from the Five Eyes countries, a reference to the intelligence sharing grouping of countries made up of the United States, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and the UK.
It was not immediately clear how many organizations were affected, but the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA) said it was working with partners including Canada, New Zealand, Australia, and the UK, as well as the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation to identify breaches. Canada, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand warned they could be targeted by the hackers too.

Investigative journalist Whitney Webb has conducted extensive research and written about the cyber attack situation for many years now, and says that “it is also clearer to people since the release of Wikileaks Vault 7 that the CIA and Affiliated intelligence agencies in five eyes and beyond can blame any nation state they want by placing false Fingerprints of various nation-state actors in attacks cyber-attacks they actually conduct themselves.”

CDC sounds major alarm as new ‘highly contagious’ Covid variant grips the US - symptoms
The new Covid variant JN.1 has sparked concern among scientists due to its rapid growth rate and large number of mutations. What are the symptoms?
A new Covid variant is spreading fast in the US, and it’s “highly contagious”, a doctor who specializes in infectious diseases has warned.
New variant JN.1 is a heavily mutated new strain and is now the fastest-growing variant in the country, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
The variant currently accounts for more than one-fifth of all infections in the US. It comes as Joe Biden's former Covid advisor admitted the virus was possibly leaked from a Chinese lab.
And while the HV.1 sub-variant is the dominant strain right now, JN.1 is not far behind.
HV.1 accounted for 30 percent of Covid cases in the US during the two week period ending on December 9, according to the CDC, and JN.1 made up about 21 percent.
The JN.1 strain has sparked concern among scientists due to its rapid growth rate and large number of mutations.
Scientists have said the variant is a direct offshoot of BA.2.86, also known as “Pirola,” which hit the US over the summer.
All of the most dominant Covid variants currently in the US are descendants of Omicron, which began in late 2021.
Some doctors are concerned JN.1 could cause a Covid surge as the US enters the winter season and respiratory virus cases rise.

Israeli army says it uncovered biggest Hamas tunnel yet
The Israeli army said on Sunday it had uncovered the biggest Hamas tunnel in the Gaza Strip so far, just a few hundred metres from a key border crossing.
Such was its size that small vehicles would be able to travel within the tunnel, an AFP photographer granted access to it reported.
The underground passage formed part of a wider branching network that stretched for over four kilometres (2.5 miles) and came within 400 metres (1,300 feet) of the Erez border crossing, the army said in a statement.
It cost millions of dollars and took years to construct, Israeli forces said, with the project lead by Mohamed Yahya, brother of Hamas chief Yahya Sinwar, who is believed to have masterminded the October 7 attacks.
The honeycomb of passageways features a drainage systems, electricity, ventilation, sewage and a communication network as well as rails.
The floor is compacted earth while its walls are reinforced concrete and its entrance is a metal cylinder with 1.5 centimetre (half-inch) thick walls.
Footage released by the Israeli army, which it said was filmed by Hamas, showed a small construction vehicle being driven into the tunnel, an extensive temporary warehouse filled with pre-cast concrete for lining the walls and workers digging beneath the earth using crude power tools.
The Israeli army said it had found a large number of weapons stored in the tunnel, ready to be used in an attack.
