1) Dragons have large claws and lack the physical ability to write.

2) Even if they could physically write, writing is a very complex learned skill that today even human kids have trouble mastering. Who taught the dragon to write?

3) Even if I were to allow for the existence of the writing dragon, what reason does the scroll give to support its existence, given that the scroll is an unknown tongue?
