This is wrong headed policy, America should not have to go alone. There needs to be an armada of smaller western navies patrolling the Suez with the large American vessels as back up at the outskirts. They all have to have their skin in the game if they rely on those vessels going through the canal. Psychologically, this would also force the Houthis to think of the ramifications ti a greater degree. After all what are those other navies doing right now? Nothing. Get it done.
