In connection to the Cohen raid, Q hinted that for evidence to be admissible in court it must be legally obtained through one of a few methods (in this case, through warrant and seizure).

This suggest that Q is hinting that they are using these raid to launder evidence relating to other matters into the FBI/DOJ. Okay.

But what's been bugging me for months… is how it could be explained how Cohen could come to be in possession of such evidence that he couldn't just waltz into that FBI with.

What sort of evidence could Cohen logically have that he couldn't simply volunteer? It's not like there is a good explanation for why he would have the NSA intercepted tarmac video sitting in his desk.
