End of the movie, they are in a court room, where due to the deaths of those on the boat due to the "Squall" including his wife, Captain is being railroaded by the judge who says some nasty things about his character.

He goes to turn in his captains license and the kids from ship stand up for him.

Sad he lost his wife and the kids during the trip.

Pretty cool story - real life story, too.
