Pornhub Admits To Profiting From Sex Trafficking, Agrees To $1.8 Million Settlement In Deal With Feds

Aylo Holdings, the owner of Pornhub - one of the largest adult content websites, has admitted to profiting from the sex trafficking, including minors, and has agreed to pay $1.8 million to the US government, as well as separate payments to women whose videos were posted without their consent, federal prosecutors in New York announced late Thursday.

Aylo Holdings, the website's parent company, reached a deferred prosecution agreement to resolve a charge of engaging in unlawful monetary transactions involving sex trafficking proceeds, according to the office of Breon Peace, U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York. -CBS News

The move comes months after the acquisition of Aylo (formerly MindGeek) by investor and Rabbi Solomon Friedman, who says he wants to turn the company's image around following this and other scandals involving illegal content on the platform.

In addition to the $1.8 million and individual compensation to women harmed by trafficking, Pornhub must appoint an independent monitor for three years, after which the charges will be dismissed.

"It is our hope that this resolution, which includes certain agreed payments to the women whose images were posted on the company's platforms and an independent monitorship brings some measure of closure to those negatively affected," according to US Attorney Peace in a statement.

The company is estimated to have generated more than $200 million in 2022, with operating margins of nearly 30%.

James Smith, head of the FBI's New York office, said Aylo Holdings "knowingly enriched itself by turning a blind eye" to victims who told the company they had been deceived and coerced into the videos.

Prosecutors said Aylo has agreed to pay victims compensation, but details such as who is eligible and how they can apply will be forthcoming.

The operators of GirlsDoPorn, the now-defunct adult film production company, were charged with and eventually convicted of a range of sex trafficking crimes, including coercing young women into sexual acts on camera which were then posted on Pornhub and other adult websites.

Prosecutors allege that between 2017 and 2020, Aylo received money that company executives knew - or should have known - came from GirlsDoPorn's sex trafficking operation. The company received over $100,000 from GirlsDoPorn, and around $764,000 from advertisers attributable to the production company.

Aylo claims that it "deeply regrets" hosting content from GirlsDoPorn, which Aylo says provided them with written consent forms purportedly signed by the women. They say they didn't know the forms were obtained via fraud and coercion.

"Aylo is not pleading guilty to any crime, and the Government has agreed to dismiss its charge against the Company after 3 years, subject to the Company's continued compliance with the Deferred Prosecution Agreement," the company said in a statement.

Political infighting is on the rise, in the run up to May elections.

After scoring significant victories in the latest state-level elections, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his ruling BJP party are involved in a controversy that began when protesters breached security at Parliament.

The hard protests by the opposition led to more than 140 Indian politicians being suspended from parliament – the largest number in history.

“The ruling Bharatiya Janata party (BJP) government was accused of a direct attack on democracy and creating ‘anarchy’ after 141 MPs from 11 different opposition parties, who sit in the lower and upper houses of parliament, were suspended for the rest of the winter session.

While opposition MPs have been suspended by the BJP government in the past, this was the most bulk suspensions of MPs on record in Indian parliamentary history. On Monday alone 78 MPs were suspended, the highest in a single day.”

“Members of parliament were accused of disrupting proceedings after they protested over a recent incident in which six intruders broke into parliament’s lower house when MPs were present and let off canisters of colored, non-toxic gas. The intruders, who were all arrested, were reportedly angry at the government over its economic policies and lack of job opportunities.

Many of the opposition politicians were suspended on Monday and Tuesday for ‘serious misconduct’ after taking part in protests that included chanting and brandishing placards in parliament, some bearing the face of Modi. The house speaker said such placards were not allowed on parliament premises.”

Bill Gates is pumping vast sums of cash into a new “needle-free” mRNA vaccine technology in preparation for the next big pandemic.

All you’ll have to do is stick his little “wafer” inside your cheek or under your tongue and you’ll be “protected” from the virus that’s no doubt already ready and waiting to be released from some distant biolab.

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is teaming up on the project with the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations, or CEPI, reports Slay News.

CEPI was founded with $460 million in seed money from Gates.

In fact, Gates mentioned CEPI in that now-famous interview he did three years ago when he snickered and predicted with ominous confidence that if Covid doesn’t scare you the next pandemic “will get attention next time.”

Gates and the CEPI are investing $1.2 million in a startup to create wafers laced with mRNA that go under the tongue to dispense his new vaccine.

The wafer can be stored at any temperature and can be administered without the use of needles.

Critics question the reliability of the technology and the safety of the mRNA platform.

Türkiye arrests hundreds for alleged ISIS links

The government has stepped up counterterrorism operations since the Kurdish PKK took credit for an October bombing

Turkish police and counterterrorism squads arrested 304 people suspected of ties to the Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS) terrorist group, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday.

The arrests took place simultaneously across 32 provinces as part of ‘Operation Heroes-34’, he said, with most of the suspects apprehended in Ankara, Istanbul, and Izmir.

Yerlikaya’s post included footage showing heavily-armed authorities kicking in doors and handcuffing men whose faces were blurred out. The individuals’ names have not been released as of Friday.

“We will not allow any terrorists to open their eyes, for the peace and unity of our people. We will continue our battle with the intense efforts of our security forces,” the official wrote.

The government has intensified its antiterrorist operations in the last several months, following a bombing outside government buildings in Ankara in October that was attributed to the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), which is considered a terrorist group in Türkiye. The blast killed a civilian and injured two police officers and resulted in 90 arrests of suspected group members.

While IS has waned in influence in recent years since losing the territory it once controlled in Iraq and Syria, it has continued to conduct scattered strikes on both countries and has claimed responsibility for several destructive attacks in Türkiye, including a 2017 nightclub bombing that killed 39 people.

In May, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that the group’s suspected leader, Abu al-Husseini al-Qurashi, had been killed in a Turkish national intelligence operation in Syria.

Last year, Turkish security forces arrested an IS commander code-named Abu Zeyd, described by the UN Security Council as “one of the senior executives of the [IS] terrorist organization.”

Biden Commutes Sentences of 11 Convicts with Meth and Cocaine Offenses, Citing ‘Equal Justice Under Law’

On Friday, Joe Biden commuted the sentences of 11 individuals who were serving time for drug offenses, according to a statement from the White House.

The individuals whose sentences were commuted had been convicted of various drug-related offenses, including conspiracy to distribute cocaine, distribution of cocaine base, and distribution of crack cocaine within proximity to a school.

Joe Biden is also expanding last year’s pardon of individuals for simple possession of marijuana to include those convicted on federal lands and in Washington, D.C. This expansion is set to affect thousands of individuals.

“America was founded on the principle of equal justice under law. Elected officials on both sides of the aisle, faith leaders, civil rights advocates, and law enforcement leaders agree that our criminal justice system can and should reflect this core value that makes our communities safer and stronger,” Biden said in a statement.

“That is why today I am announcing additional steps I am taking to make the promise of equal justice a reality,” he added.

“My Administration will continue to review clemency petitions and deliver reforms that advance equal justice, address racial disparities, strengthen public safety, and enhance the wellbeing of all Americans,” the statement concluded.

Among others, top McCarthy henchman Rep. The trip to Ukraine was part of a wider pattern of the Humpty Dumpty Institute associating with and visiting orphanages in third-world or war-torn countries from which children are known to routinely be trafficked.

American public pension funds have sunk over $73.28 billion into Chinese stocks, over $68 billion of it since 2020 – presenting a potentially serious national and economic security risk, as relations with the communist dictatorship worsen. The New York State Common Retirement Fund and the New York State State Teachers’ Retirement System are among the pension funds most exposed to China, with over $8.3 billion and $3.1 billion committed, respectively.

Other major investors include the California Public Employees Retirement System, with $7.86 billion committed, the California State Teachers System, at $5.55 billion, the Washington State Investment Board, at $5.02 billion, the San Francisco Employees Retirement System, at $3.3 billion, and the Pennsylvania Public School Employees Retirement System, at $3.2 billion. UN Report Says Over 570,000 People Are Starving in Gaza

Israel is using starvation as a weapon of war

One in four Palestinians living in the Gaza Strip — over 570,000 people — are starving due to the Israeli siege, according to a report using data from the UN and other aid agencies that was released Thursday.

The report, published by the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC), said the Israeli onslaught in Gaza has “caused catastrophic levels of acute food insecurity across the Gaza Strip.”

The IPC has a five-phase scale for malnutrition, and the report estimates the entire population of Gaza is facing Phase 3 or higher. Phase 3 is defined as: “Households either have food consumption gaps that are reflected by high or above-usual acute malnutrition; or are marginally able to meet minimum food needs but only by depleting essential livelihood assets or through crisis-coping strategies.”

One in four households in Gaza is in Phase 5, which means catastrophic famine-like conditions. Phase 5 is defined as: “Households have an extreme lack of food and/or other basic needs even after full employment of coping strategies. Starvation, death, destitution, and extremely critical acute malnutrition levels are evident. For famine classification, the area needs to have extreme critical levels of acute malnutrition and mortality.”

The IPC report came after Human Rights Watch said Israel was committing a war crime by using starvation as a weapon of war against Gaza’s civilian population. HRW said Israeli forces were “deliberately blocking the delivery of water, food, and fuel, while willfully impeding humanitarian assistance, apparently razing agricultural areas, and depriving the civilian population of objects indispensable to their survival.”

When Israel’s onslaught first began after the October 7 Hamas attack on southern Israel, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant announced a “complete siege” on the already blockaded enclave and said Israel was fighting “human animals” in Gaza, which is home to over 1 million children.

Over 20,000 Palestinians have been killed in the US-backed Israeli slaughter so far, including over 8,000 children. As the war continues, many more could die from starvation and disease caused by the siege.

Russia's war is killing an average of 31 children a month, whereas Israel's war is killing an average of 3,200 children a month.
