MAJORITY BACK TRUMP’S PICK FOR SCOTUS

WASHINGTON - President Donald Trump announced his nominee for the Supreme Court of the United States today. More than two-thirds of those surveyed support his choice given President Trump’s recent successes in brokering peace with North Korea, leading a rational discussion for immigration policy, achieving record levels of employment and pushing back against entrenched interests in Washington and abroad.

President Trump has made clear the dangers inherent with activist judges and shows a strong preference for jurists who support both the Constitution and court precedence. All the candidates interviewed are similar in this regard, however President Trump believes the nominee will successfully carry forward the well-considered opinions of the late Justice Anthony Scalia.
