limb implants vs brain implants
was thinking…
brain implant… to be useful, a wide array of brain signaling must be mapped / known
additionally for each signal mapped a few additional attributes are needed (likely more):
-high
-low
-gradient
-equilibrium
-inverse
-pairing
-all attributes with wake sleep offsets
that is just some of the variables that would need to be known to bring a brain implant to market.
now having an idea of what is needed for a brain implant.
why aren't there bluetooth bypasses to hop over regions of damaged bodily nerves?
just map healthy nerve function via recording and discernment.
read what is incoming on brain side of damage,
transmit across damage,
replicate signal on opposite of damage.
seems it would be much less complex than a brain implant.
would skip the concept of bionics and also enhance function of prosthetics.
less hazardous in comparison with brain implant.
tech is likely already available or could be easily dev'd.
half the variables and complexity.
makes me wonder why this isn't commonly available.
how many years to get human test trial approval?
how many fewer would it be for limbs and the like?
and why brain first instead of limb?
