Bill Granger, a chef, restaurateur and “king of breakfast” — perhaps most famous for popularizing the globally adored avocado toast — died Monday. He was 54 years old.
Granger died at a London hospital surrounded by his wife and three daughters, the family announced on Instagram Tuesday.
It is unclear how he died. He was born in Melbourne, Australia and taught himself to cook, leading to a 30-year career as a global restaurateur and author of 14 cookbook
