Aside from the occasional runs across the bridge in college to Windsor to sneak back cases of real Canada Labatt beer, my experience with our neighbor to the north has been very limited. But I have watched with everyone else as Justin Trudeau and his government have indulged in a veritable orgy of progressive policies that seem to be designed to turn Canada into a horrible hybrid of Airstrip One and the city in "Logan's Run." One of those policies has been the implementation of euthanasia. This particular bit of nastiness has been chronicled elsewhere on these and other pages, but it bears revisiting

Florida Sen. Rick Scott’s home in Naples was swatted Wednesday night, according to Naples Police spokesperson Lt. Bryan McGinn. Scott posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, Thursday morning, stating: “Last night, while at dinner with my wife, cowards ‘swatted’ my home in Naples. These criminals wasted the time & resources of our law enforcement in a sick attempt to terrorize my family.” Swatting is a prank call made to authorities with the express purpose of luring them to a location – usually a home – where they are led to believe a horrific crime has been committed or is in progress. This results in a forceful response from local police or

In 1898, the United States government acquired Puerto Rico through the Treaty of Paris, which ended the Spanish-American War. This was only one year after Spain had granted the island the power to self-govern. But after Spain lost the war, they ceded control of Puerto Rico. At the time, Puerto Rico's population was just under 1 million. Most were living in poverty. It wasn't uncommon for families to spend the majority of their income on food. Many people worked for only cents per day harvesting sugarcane. Others owned farms or worked inland on coffee and tobacco fields. "Imagine that about 90% of your income is spent on food, and you're still malnourished.

Oregon state legislators, radio show hosts and GOP representatives are suing government officials to put an end to the state’s censorship of so-called “false election information.” According to a First Amendment lawsuit against Democrat Gov. Tina Kotek, Secretary of State LaVonne Griffin-Valade and Elections Director Molly Woon, Oregon’s election officials are negotiating deals with censorship vendors to silence “criticism of its election system” through a contract to “identify and mitigate” purported “MDM,” purported misinformation, disinformation and malinformation.

Democrats Get Ready to Screw a Bunch of People

There is no group more destructive than Democrats with even a whiff of power. They are Hitler overdosing on caffeine when it comes energetically imposing their will on people. It’s hard to care, honestly, when idiotic voters elect these people, but it is Republicans who put up such worthless candidates against horrible people and can’t message their way out of a wet paper bag. That’s one of the lessons of the 2022 election, and a bunch of other lessons are about to go into effect after the first of January as what Democrats are forcing on people are implemented.
