So I'm thinking major port like Jeddah would be used late at night, smaller ones anytime.

I don't see large groups like needing railroad access to the port, but not a trafficker so don't really know.

Which brings us to type of vessel. Yachts and private craft could be used. but I lean more towards either tugboats (not big on capacity) or livestock carriers (all kinds of bad smell with those, not an inspector's favorite) or Offshore Supply ships ( all over the place and so common hardly given a glance)

Could bring into Sudan, even southern Egypt, then into Libya and the chaos there. Sudanese are showing up at the U.S. southern Border but I'd think Europe was more the destination.

Basic Economics. Supply of people must have source and Demand has to be located elsewhere or no transport network needed.

Look at it like they would. Shipping perishable goods. Somalia is easily bought gunhands but the transportation infrastructure there is not reliable. Old days of slave ships dumping bodies won't work unless the route can guarantee sharks.
