This is an important line. If the government was not aware of a “violent” crime, then it would have no reason to parse our and exclude violent crimes. Instead of separating the violent and nonviolent crimes, the plea language would simply refer to the crimes listed in the Statement of Offense and reserve the right to prosecute for any crime the Defendant failed to list.
