Powerful blasts reported in Ukrainian cities

The strikes targeted defense industry facilities and ammunition depots, Moscow has said

Powerfulexplosionsrocked several Ukrainian cities onTuesday morning, according to local officials. The reported strikes came after Russia accused Kiev of carrying out deadly “terrorist attacks” on Donetsk and Belgorod, vowing retaliation.

The Russian Defense Ministry confirmed the strikes, saying it hadused drones and long-range, high-precision weaponsto target Ukrainiandefense industry facilitiesthat produce missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles and other military equipment.

The attack was also aimed at destroyingstorage facilities loaded with missilesand various types of ammunition, including those provided by Kiev’s Western backers, officials said, adding that “all targets have been hit.”

Blasts were reported in several districts of Kiev by its mayor, Vitaly Klitschko, in the early hours of Tuesday morning. He said that some facilities and residential buildings had been cut off from power, adding that “in some areas, there is a temporary lack of pressure in the water supply network.”

Ukraine’s Energy Ministry claimed that the strikes had left about 260,000 of the city’s residents without access to electricity.

According to the mayor, there were several fires in Podolsky district in the western part of the Ukrainian capital; one warehouse building was affected. He added that another warehouse was on fire in the northwest of the capital.

Later, Klitschko claimed that 20 people had been injured as a result of a rocket strike in western Solomensky district, and that 19 of them had been hospitalized.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force,Russia scrambled nine MiG-31 fighters, which launched a barrage ofKinzhal hypersonic missiles. It also warned of “significant activity of enemy tactical aviation” in the waters of the Sea of Azov.

Several videos posted on social media show large fires in the Ukrainian capital, with one clip purporting to show a missile flying over the city.

Ukrainian officials also said that Moscowlaunched a “massive rocket attack” on Kharkov, which is located near the country’s border with Russia and less than 80 km away from Belgorod. Oleg Sinegubov, the head of the regional administration, claimed that there had been at least six rocket strikes, adding that there have been dozens of casualties.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky claimed that four people died in the strikes and that another 92 were wounded, adding that the country’s emergency services are working to eliminate the fallout from the attack.

Vassily Nebenzia, Moscow’s envoy to the UN, said on Saturday that Kiev often deploys its air defense systems in residential districts inviolation of international law, resulting in casualties among civilians.

The attack comes after the Russian Defense Ministry said it had carried out high-precision missile strikes on Sunday, onairports where Ukrainian jetscarrying UK-suppliedStorm Shadow missileswere based. It claimed that all targets had been hit.

On Saturday, Ukrainian forces launched a powerful missile barrage at the Russian border city of Belgorod, killing 25 people, including five children, and injuring 109. Overnight on December 31-January 1, they also shelled Donetsk, with the strike claiming thelives of four peopleand wounding another 13.

On Monday, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Kiev’s terrorist attacks wouldn’t go unanswered, vowing to ramp up strikes on Ukrainian military infrastructure. He stressed, however, that Moscow had no plans to retaliate in kind by targeting civilians.

(Russia has known every location of weapons, troops, infrastructure, tactical centers, etc. since early on, they have be discreet in what they blew up.But now that Zelensky gave the go ahead to attack civilian towns and cities, the gloves are off. Kiev made the worst mistake ever thinking that Putin and Russia would not release the hounds of hell, well, its only just begun! If Kiev will intentionally kill civilians, Russia is beholden to blow up every weapon on war, and those who allowed this. NATO leaders and soldiers were in the facilities blown up on Sat and Sunday.)

Russia explains target selection in new strikes on Ukraine

The long-range attacks were aimed at the country’s military-industrial base and ammunition stocks, the Russian Defense Ministry has said

The Russian military has conducted another wave of strikes on Ukrainian military facilities; Moscow recently accused Kiev of staging “terrorist attacks” on Donetsk and Belgorod and promised retaliation.

In a statement on Tuesday, the ministry said that Russia’s armed forces had “carried out a group strike with long-range precision weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles on enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine.”

Russian officials stated that the barrageparticularly targeted facilities in Kiev and its suburbs that produced missiles and drones, as well as those that repaired weaponry and other military equipment. Other strikes were aimed at missile depots, ammunition and aircraft weaponry supplied to Kiev by Western countries, the ministry said.

“The mission of the strike has been achieved. All targets have been hit,”the officials concluded.

Earlier in the day, Ukrainian officials and media reported a barrage of missile strikes on Kiev and Kharkov, a city not far from the Russian border, claiming there were numerous casualties. Kiev Mayor Vitaly Klitschko said that the strikes had left many residential buildings and facilities in the capital without power, adding that atleast two warehouses storing unspecified items had caught fire.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has said that a total of four people died in the strikes and that another 92 were wounded. Last week, Vassily Nebenzia, Moscow’s envoy to the UN, said that Kiev often deploys its air defense systems in residential districts in violation of international law, resulting in casualties among civilians.

The new missile and drone strikes come after Ukraine launched an attack on the Russian border city of Belgorod last week, killing 25 people, including several children; more than 100 were injured. In the early hours of January 1, Kiev also shelled Donetsk, a frequent target of the Ukrainian military since 2014, killing four people and injuring 13.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has vowed that those “terrorist attacks” would not go unanswered, promising to ramp up strikes on Ukrainian military facilities. He stressed, however, that Moscow had no intention of targeting civilians.

(This ramp up has just started!)

Ex-US envoy grilled for questioning India-Russia ties

Former Ambassador Michael McFaul has come under fire for criticizing the recent visit of New Delhi’s top diplomat to Moscow

Michael McFaul, the US ambassador to Russia from 2012-14, has come under fire after lamenting India’s “embrace of imperial Russia,” while commenting on Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar’s visit to Moscow last week.

McFaul, who was a key figure in former US President Barack Obama’s administration and its attempts to reset relations with Russia, shared an RT article about Jaishankar’s visit, penned by political commentator Aaryaman Nijhawan, on X (formerly Twitter), suggesting that “India was once a world champion against imperialism and for decolonization.”

“Sad to see this embrace of imperial Russia using war and annexation to try to recolonize Ukraine. I guess money is more important than values,” he wrote.

McFaul’s remarks soon attracted attention on the social media platform, with hundreds of commenters accusing the diplomat of hypocrisy.

“When America or European countries take a foreign policy decision, it’s in their national interest. Whereas if India does it, the #Toolkit members preach morality, start offering unsolicited lessons [of] wisdom,” one person said, adding that India is “capable of deciding for herself.”

Some commenters recalled the history of Indian-Russian ties during the Cold War,reminding McFaul of the US’ reluctance to “stand with India” when India “was a world champion against imperialism,” while others condemned Washington for supplying Pakistan “with weapons and arms” that are used to attack India.

“You are American. You have always put money above values for the last three hundred years,” Indian entrepreneur CA Shailendra Marathe said in reply to the post.

Neha Shrivastava suggested that India should also refuse to meet with leaders from the US, Australia, and New Zealand, “as those are all occupied, colonized territories whose original inhabitants have been relegated to second-class citizens.”

“India and Russia getting along with each other. Sounds good to me. The USA has Estonia, Finland and Latvia.=NATO aggression is causing the rest of the world to unite,” George E. Silos wrote.

Mike McMullen from Canada claimed that “half of the world has turned against the self-hating West,” suggestingthere is a “leadership problem.”

The former US diplomat’s comments came days after Jaishankar wrapped up a five-day visit to Russia, in which the two sides signed several key bilateral agreements, paving the way for even stronger ties between the two nations. There has been a massive surge in transactions between Moscow and New Delhi amid the sweeping Western sanctions imposed on Russia over its military operation in Ukraine. In the last two years, India has significantly ramped up imports of Russian commodities, including oil and coal, and strategic items including defense hardware.

Jaishankar, when asked in an interview with ANI news agency about the “meltdown” in the Western press regarding his visit to Russia, said that New Delhi has always maintained that its relationship with Moscow is very “important” and “steady.” “It is a relationship that has served India well… I am looking at it from an Indian perspective,” he said. “You [should not] allow other people to decide your judgment and your responses.”

During his visit to Russia last month, Jaishankar met with Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Deputy PM Denis Manturov, engaged with the Indian community in Moscow, and held a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, which is a rare deviation from the Kremlin’s protocols. In a joint press conference with Lavrov, Jaishankar expressed confidence that the tradition ofannual bilateral summits between Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will resume next year.

(Early on the US sent many “ambassadors” to strong arm and intimidate India to back the West against RussiaIndia refused to send arms to Ukraine but sent Humanitarian Aid. India didn’t back down and made new alliances. The threats were numerous and serious. The West caused the unity of all countries not in EU, the multipolar world is growing, and the only countries opposing it are the West. Meanwhile the economies of the West have lost significant wealth and advantage. Now the West are considered Pariahs in Asia, the Middle East and on the African Continent. France and NATO have been kicked out of Africa altogether. PS: McFaul is detested WW, his arrogance is not working)

JUST IN: Fox News Sees Worst Ratings In Nearly A Decade In 2023

By Chris December 31, 2023

In 2023, the cable news landscape underwent significant changes, marked by challenges and shifts in viewership. Despite the changes, Fox News maintained its position as the most-watched cable network, a title it has held for eight consecutive years. However, it faced its lowest average audience since 2015, with 1.2 million viewers, according to Nielsen data.

The decline can be partly attributed to the departure of star Tucker Carlson, its then top-rated prime-time anchor, who has found success on Elon Musk’s X, formerly Twitter. There was also the subsequentshift of many loyal Fox News viewers to Newsmax in 2023, at the start of Trump’s presidential campaign.

In the past year, MSNBC saw a 7% increase in its viewership, totaling 792,000 viewers on average. The boost could be attributed to its focus on Trump’s legal troubles, and popular left-wing hosts like Rachel Maddow.

CNN experienced its lowest performance since 2014, averaging 481,000 viewersand marking arecord low in the 25-54 age group. Despite this, CNN maintained its lead over MSNBC in this demographic for the tenth year for total day viewership and the fourth year for prime time.

Mediaite reported:

While Fox has remained atop the industry, the network saw an 18 percent drop in year-over-year total viewers from 1.49 million to 1.2 million – its lowest total viewership since 2015. MSNBC averaged 784,000 total day viewers, up from 733,000 the year before. CNN, meanwhile, averaged 482,000 total day viewers, a 15 percent drop from 2022’s 568,000 average viewers.

In the total day demo, MSNBC was up 5 percent with 87,000 total average viewers – landing in third. CNN was in second with 95,000 – a 22 percent drop year over year. Fox led the pack with 150,000 total average viewers – a 34 percent drop from the previous year.

Fox’s The Five brought in 2.9 million total viewers and 303,000 demo viewers to top the charts. Jesse Watters came in second with 2.5 million total viewers and saw 255,000 demo viewers. Sean Hannity scored 2.4 million total viewers, but landed in second overall in the demo with 217,000 demo viewers. Bret Baier was the only other cable news show to average over 2 million viewers for the year and landed in fourth place overall followed by Laura Ingraham, who continues to be the most-watched woman on cable news. Greg Gutfeld landed in sixth place in total viewers.

The decline in cable news viewership is part of a larger trend caused by cord-cutting and a move towards streaming services, posing challenges for networks reliant on pay TV fees. Fox News, CNN, and MSNBC have seen their reach drop from over 90 million homes in 2016 to about 70 million. The trend is especially pronounced for CNN, known for attracting a younger audience, as younger viewers are increasingly turning to digital platforms.

News viewers are generally older and more inclined to maintain their pay TV subscriptions, as stated by Jill Rosengard Hill, executive vice president for global media and entertainment at Magid, a research firm. “They value the ease of use,” she explained to the L.A. Times.

In response to the evolving media landscape, networks are actively adapting. For instance, Fox News has developed its own streaming service, Fox Nation, and CNN is also transitioning to the streaming era under new leadership.

The DC Establishment Is Deeply Concerned That Trump May Have Copies of His Declassified Binder

A recent CNN article titled “The mystery of the missing binder: How a collection of raw Russian intelligence disappeared under Trump” discusses, albeit in roundabout fashion, former President Donald Trump’s declassified binder.

According to CNN:

“A binder containing highly classified information related to Russian election interference went missing at the end of Donald Trump’s presidency, raising alarms among intelligence officials that some of the most closely guarded national security secrets from the US and its allies could be exposed, sources familiar with the matter told CNN.

“Its disappearance, which has not been previously reported, was so concerning that intelligence officials briefed Senate Intelligence Committee leaders last year about the missing materials and the government’s efforts to retrieve them, the sources said.

“In the two-plus years since Trump left office, the missing intelligence does not appear to have been found.”

All very breathless and conspiratorial sounding. Which, of course, is the entire point.

But the problem for CNN is that there never was any Russian collusion. It was all a giant hoax. Nor was there any real Russian election interference. No more so than any other year. And no more than what the United States does in Russia.

It was all part of a giant fraud that CNN helped to perpetrate in order to hamstring the Trump presidency. So when CNN claims, “The binder contained raw intelligence the US and its NATO allies collected on Russians and Russian agents, including sources and methods that informed the US government’s assessment that Russian President Vladimir Putin sought to help Trump win the 2016 election,”what they are really referring to is the proof that Trump amassed of the FBI’s efforts to interfere in the 2016 election.

The “sources and methodsthat informed the US government” is precisely what theydon’t want anyone to see. It was never Russian collusion. It was collusion on the part of DC’s entrenched bureaucracy. That’s where the real scandal lies. And theDC establishment is very worriedthat President Trump has proof of that collusion in his possession.

And that’s what this is all really about—information that President Trump has in his possession that proves the involvement of the FBI, Department of Justice (DOJ), and other establishment agencies in their effort to tarnish him with their construction of the Russian collusion lie.

Which is whyCNN all but gave awaythe entire premisebehind the DOJ’s directed FBI raidon President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence in their article.

As they note, “The binder was not among the classified items found in last year’s search of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort, according to a US official familiar with the matter, who said the FBI was not looking specifically for intelligence related to Russia when it obtained a search warrant for the former president’s residence last year.”

Their need to insert that disclaimer gives the game away. We didn’t find the binder when we launched a politically motivated shock raid on the house of a former president, but we also weren’t looking for it. Right.

It’s worth remembering that the FBI’s raid on Mar-a-Lago started off with claims that President Trump had illegally stored top-secret documents related to our nation’s nuclear weapons in his bathroom.

Of course, that claim wasn’t true, which is why CNN has shifted to hyping the classified nature of the binder by claiming, “The intelligence was so sensitive that lawmakers and congressional aides with top secret security clearances were able to review the material only at CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia, where their work scrutinizing it was itself kept in a locked safe.”

These ridiculously overwrought claims that the binder was of the highest sensitivity are all nonsense, of course. Many of these documents have slowly made their way into the public domain through congressional release. And the FBI has even been forced to reluctantly release several hundred pages of heavily redacted internal records from its Russia investigation…

https://1ft.io/proxy?q=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.theepochtimes.com%2Fopinion%2Fthe-dc-establishment-is-deeply-concerned-that-trump-may-have-copies-of-his-declassified-binder-5554651

>>20169648 continued..

The binder is not a threat to national security. But it does contain documents that implicate many—both outside and inside the deep state—in their efforts to overturn the Trump presidency with claims of Russian collusion.

It’s important to note thatthere’s a very real effort on the part of the DOJ to run cover for hiding the binder in the first place. And, as we’ll see, an effort to confuse exactly what the binder really was.

A few months back, we told you about a new filing from John Solomon that told the backstory to President Trump’s last-minute declassification order of his “Binder of Declassified Documents.”—andhow the DOJ sucked those documents back in and blackholed them.

At President Trump’s request, the DOJ provided the White House with a binder of materials related to the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane investigation on Dec. 30, 2020. According to the motion, “Trump reviewed them and decided that the binder should be declassified to the maximum extent possible.”

As you might expect, the FBI had been objecting to the release of these documents because “the binder contained embarrassing information about the Bureau’s officials and the government’s conduct in the case,” and there was a lot of fighting over redactions.

This was finally settled, with President Trump accepting the “proposed redactions” and declassifying the binder in a final Jan. 19, 2021, order. As this was ongoing, Mark Meadows, President Trump’s chief of staff, informed Mr. Solomon of the pending declassification and invited him to the White House to “review several hundred pages of declassified documents and to discuss a plan for publicly disseminating the entire binder to the American public.”

As Mr. Solomon and his staff were reviewing the documents, they received a call from the White House asking that the documents be returned because the White House inexplicably wished to make some additional redactions to unclassified information under the Privacy Act.

Which is odd, because asMr. Solomon’s filing notes, “the binder was not subject to the Privacy Act.”But for some unknown reason and “without the President’s knowledge or consent, one of the President’s subordinates[possibly Mr. Meadows himself]decided that redactions consistent with the standards of the Privacy Act should be applied to the binder before it was publicly released.”

According to the filing,Mr. Meadows “promised Solomon that he would receive the revised binder.” But as Mr. Solomon notes, this never occurred and the documents reside within the DOJ to this day.

A legal back-and-forth continued between the two camps until June 17, 2022—when an agreement was reached and President Trump designated “Kash Patel and Solomon as his representatives.”

President Trump’s lawyer reached out to Gary Stern, general counsel of the National Archives, telling him that they would like to begin reviewing the documents at the Archives on June 21, 2022.” But here’s where the intentional confusion by the DOJ and the National Archives comes into play.

Arizona Military Museum CLOSES after Vietnam vet founder, 80, told tour: 'Eventually they will replace me with some gay, black, woman woke Jew' and claimed mannequin with hand on its hip represented gay soldiers

By Mackenzie Tatanann 29 Dec 2023

Vietnam vet Joe Abodeely, 80, was forced to step away from the museum he curated for over 40 years after making the offensive remarks

The Arizona Military Museum was then shut and the nonprofit overseeing it no longer has state support

Arizona National Guard Brigadier General John Conley sent Abodeely a letter expressing concern about statements the senior made during a tour

A Vietnam War veteran has been ousted from the military museum he curated for decades after suggesting he would be replaced by 'some gay, black, woman, woke Jew.'

Joe Abodeely, 80, spent half his life overseeing the Arizona Military Museum which was a personal passion for the Army veteran who served in the Vietnam War - his own uniform was even on display.

But for more than four months, the museum has been closed to the public, and the nonprofit overseeing it no longer has state support.

Arizona National Guard Brigadier General John Conley sent Abodeely a letter in February expressing concern about statements the senior made during a tour.

'Eventually they will replace me with some gay, Black, woman, woke Jew who will ruin the place,' Abodeely said, according to the letter obtained by the Arizona Republic.

He was alleged to have called 'all Americans' stupid and 'told the members of the tour group that they knew nothing of the realities of the Vietnam era because they were too young, brainwashed, stupid, duped, uneducated, or uncaring.'

The 86-year-old museum is run by the Arizona National Guard Historical Society, a nonprofit that Abodeely led for decades, and sits on military property.

Following the incident, the state's Department of Emergency and Military Affairs ordered Abodeely to attend two hours of diversity, equity and inclusion training. He obliged.

Major General Kerry Muehlenbeck, the adjutant general of the guard in Arizona, also wanted to meet with him.

But the offensive language didn't stop there, despite Abodeely attaining a certificate of completion for the course. In an interview, he remarked that a museum mannequin with a 'hand on its hip' represented gay soldiers.

A day later, Abodeely issued an apology, attributing his erratic behavior to the combined stress of undergoing tests for cancer and the museum fiasco.

'I'm arrogant, and I know that,' the 80-year-old said. 'I am somewhat egotistical, but I care about other people. I care about other things. I care about my nation, my state and I care about the museum.'

Abodeely's remarks during the tour are at odds with posts on the museum's Facebook page where he condemned racists and spoke out about division in the country.

'It is not about economics, or politics, or ideology, or the haves vs. the have nots - it is clearly about RACE,' he wrote of the motivations behind the January 6 siege of the Capitol.

'Those people are simply ignorant, despicable racists; and their actions have brought the race issue to the forefront. It took a racist President and supporters to do it.'

In an interview, he claimed he was being pushed out due to a personal vendetta held by Muehlenbeck, a claim that her spokesperson denied….

I read the entire bible front to back this year, I was shocked how many 1,000s of times the Jews were forgiven by God, daily for 40 years+. They seemingly never learned.

But that being said Moses begged God to forgive them because there were “many good and holy people” in their midst. I think the evil jews dating back to that time will not be forgiven, but I believe there are God’s good souls that were among that will be or have been forgiven.

The problem we all have is that the seed of Adam and the seed of Satan has cross pollinated over 1,000s of years.

Therefore there are very few pure seeds of Adam on earth that have not been mixed. Meaning the majority of humans have the war against good and evil within our own bodies, and souls. That is where the war starts and our free will takes over on which one do we will to be.

The Devil must destroy our souls to gain ultimate power, but that will never happen. It truly is the most Epic War of All Time!

Burger Recall Over Potentially Deadly Bacteria Found in Beef Products

Aleks PhillipsJan 01, 2024 at 5:48 AM EST

An Illinois meat producer has issued a recall of around 6,768 pounds of ground beef products including ready-made burger patties after samples were found to contain E. coli, a potentially deadly bacteria, the Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) has said.

In an alert issued on Sunday, the federal agency announced that Valley Meats—a Coal Valley beef and pork products wholesaler that markets mainly to the foodservices industry across 27 states—was recalling seven different types of beef product over concerns they may have been contaminated.

FSIS said it was "concerned that some product may be in institutional or restaurant refrigerators or freezers." It urged anyone who had bought the products under the recall to not serve them, and either throw them away or return them to where they had been purchased.

Newsweek approached Valley Meats via email for comment on Monday.

E. coli is a diverse group of bacteria found naturally occurring in the environment, some strains of which produce a toxic that can cause sickness, including stomach cramps, diarrhea and vomiting.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, symptoms begin to develop around three days after infection, and between five and 10 percent of people who contract the illness develop a potentially life-threatening complication that could cause a person's kidneys to stop functioning.

FSIS said that the items subject to a recall wereshipped to distributors in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa and Michiganintended for further distribution torestaurants and hospitality providers. All were produced on December 22.

"The problem was discovered when the establishment notified FSIS that samples of ground beef products submitted to a third-party laboratory for microbiological analysis tested positive for E. coli," the agency said.

It stressed that there had been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions following consumption of the products.

Included in the recall are 12- and 16-pound boxes of Angus ground beef patties with expiry dates of January 15; 13.5-, 24- and 28-pound boxes of ground beef patties with the same expiry date; and 20- and 40-pound boxes of ground beef. The particular boxes subject to the alert were produced between particular given times and have specific codes named by FSIS.

The FSIS urged anyone who was concerned about illness due to consuming the products to contact a healthcare provider.
