I met a guy at the pickers place and his deal is he tries to find Disney product that has creepy stuff that is often on first edition so he has the version where the stuff is that gets removed once it gets pointed out, things that look like body parts, etc. He'll buy it and flip it. I agree there are some shows and movies that children ought never be shown anymore now that we understand what went in it, but I don't throw away a Sit Comm full series just because in the final seasons they put the cringe writers on it sothat there are five minute segments that need to be fast-forwarded through.
the writing is a collaboration, and the show is a troope, so if one person is considered repulsive (can you say 'That Seventies Show' ) do you throw away the whole series?
in the case of That SEventies Show they don't seem to have anyone buying their Blue Ray sets so they discount it steeply.
