>>2018075 (Q's Schools/Yoda)

Just spitballing, but as a Washington resident one of the things we are constantly screaming about to Seattle is that they take more and more of our money in taxes, just recently they said $1.2 million will go to immigration advocacy lawyers, and yet our state has been found in contempt of our local Constitution regarding the funding of schools. [The quote "Bring Schools back to Washington" got me going]

In my neighborhood we are constantly coming up against bonds and levies and those who say "But what have you done with what we've given? And WHY won't Olympia put building maintenance back into THEIR budgets" we just "Don't care about the children"

Just like with immigration. But they don't care about babies - this, the state where the PROSECUTOR asks for probation and counseling for a sex offender. Counseling. The same thing as his 10 year old victims. If not for one amazing judge, one Sergio Armijo, who said "No, I think not" and threw the full weight of the statute against him.

I can't find the articles now but I recall there being a pretty heated smear campaign by his opponent in a judicial election. There were allegations his opponent picked up hookers, including males, and then went back and threatened to kill them if they said anything about him (in light of his running). Ultimately Armijo was disbarred entirely (ironically for apparently not caring about his immigration clients… as a minority…) and is called an ethical dwarf. https://www.thenewstribune.com/news/local/crime/article25861696.html

And yet what kind of State Prosecutor sends the message it's okay to molest children? The same kind of Prosecutor who refuses to prosecute all sorts of crimes, likely so that they can claim how great they are doing statistically, while the unrecorded numbers tell a very different story. Shades of Broward County? WA, too, believes in "restorative justice"…

Besides being involved in Russian dossier debacle, Perkins Coie is now identified as the legal office leading the smear campaign against Jim Jordan. It is not known by many, but our lieutenant governor was employed (believe he still is, actually) at Perkins Coie during the time period in question. And I ask myself, how did he NOT know that was going on? Doesn't it seem like something that would be really hard to keep quiet around the water cooler?

Further more, there's quite a bit of legislative fuckery going on here. Example. We have an initiative that just got the signatures to make the ballot, I-1639. The initiative does not meet the law's requirements in terms of actual language of the bill, and so a lawsuit was filed. The Seattle Supreme Court announced they will not hear the case.

With legalized recreational markets in WA, collecting taxes on product but not paying it onto the Feds, we're primed for a RICO case (not that cannabis should be illegal at all). Lots of unhappy constituents. Never saw a Hillary sign before the election even though she of course swept it. Learned we have a whole extra district of representation due to our illegal alien population, too. Tick tock in WA?
